    Robert John,

Here, just skip over mission eight for the Luftwaffe and mission nine for the United States. I know this version works 100%, so long as you have everything you need. The mission to defend / attack St. Nazaire is awaiting new scenery.

Still trying to install Battle for Europe.
I am using the default mdlnames and descrip files. Near the end of the installation I added some more DP's and then I get the loading error messages. Trying to undo been a problem. Using a default DP file loads with no problem. Have to load the dp's for OBJECTS_DP again. I think I will have to put the bare minimum of DP's in the folder.

    Sorry me again,
    Can't find af_lci_1-350_rd. Found af_lci_1-350 in the af_amphib1 zip.
    Getting there slowly.
Played some missions, they are fantsftic, scenery looks great.

    Rami,
I read the read me no mention or model of af_lci_1-350_rd, there is a af_lci_1-350.
Do I make a copy of af_lci_1-350. and rename the parts af_lci_1-350_rd.

Had to do this with an aircraft mz-fw190-5 renamed to mz-fw-190-5 for it to work.

    RJ,

The Mosquito? Check the sound.cfg, it's alaised to the stock Lightning, but it is named incorrectly. If you fix that, it will work.

When I move his Mossie and his Spitfires to the new library, that is one thing I aim to correct.

As far as the naming issues, what missions were they?

NAMING ISSUES WITH THE BATTLE FOR EUROPE ALLIED SIDE

I Made new folders for the renamed crafts

wreck Havoc at Nantes rename mz-fw190-5 to mz-fw-190-5
Normandy invasion rename af_lci_1-350 to af_lci_1-350-rd.

I now have all Allied missions loading.
    What a nightmare.

I did not load many of the extra skins.
A detailed install tutorial for adding all the addons would not go a miss.
If I can remember all the problems I had so far, I may write one.

    Now for the Axis side.

Thanking you for helping keep the game alive.

    RJ,

Aha! I will be dammed...the package does not have the "rd" (ramp down) versions of those landing craft. Thanks for the heads-up.

The Axis side was the original campaign. I used those to make the Allied missions.

By the way...all other campaigns for Europe are based off of Battle for Europe. Once you install "the beast," virtually every other campaign uses stuff from it. So other installs are MUCH easier in comparison.

Make the same corrections to the landing craft for mission 11 on the Axis side, then.
