Dang, if I had any brains, I would have done the direct ENHF to ESSB route in the Lockheed. It's not that much farther...

Ok folks, going to give this bird one more chance. Taking off from ENHF to ESSB flying the S73

I'll be darn! We made it. Landed ESSB safe and sound.

Like Willy, the darn heater in this bird is a little on the slow side. The bloody folks in Italy set this bird up for Africa. From the ice box to the frying pan, now can life get any better!

    Hi all,

Again, surprise! We landed in Copenhagen EKCH safe and sound, one thing we had nice weather for landing. All along the flight we had some low cloud or fig was getting a little concened that we would have weather for landing like we did Stocknolm. PRB, some of that chewin stuff, I didn't that that stuff came from Copenhagen!

    Hey everybody,

We've been thinkin. hehe, about going to Germany to do a little peek-a-booing. So here it is: Flying the S73, being Italian might help somewhat. hehe,

Leaving EKCH Copenhagen for EDDF Frankfurt, Germany. Kind of feeling bad about missing seeing da Head Rabbit in Berlin.

  12. #12
Well, we did it again, safe landing at Frankfurt EDDF. I sure don't think we will get to do much peek-a-booing around here, lots of folks walking around in uniform and carrying guns. Not surprising, we had an escort of some fighters type planes as soon as we crossed into the fatherland. Object: get fueled up, grab some kind of chow and get the @$&%$ out of here!

Oops, here are a couple of pictures taken within the Fatherland.

:salute:Crying out loud! We didn't get out of Frankfurt as quick as we wanted. About the time we were refueled and ready to go some bullies in brown shirts arrived and put a stop to us leaving! These racsals darn near strip search the plane, what a mess! Any way there couldn't find anything so now we will be getting out of Dodge!

Hand flying. EDDF to LSMI, Auto pilot disable on Duenna.

    Agreed!

She was on my short list and was one of the last planes to be eliminated.

A real beauty ... enjoying the screenies.
