Willy's African Expedition from Cape to Cape.

Parked at Hammerfest, Norway and doing some last minute adjustments and final loading up the Sikorsky S43 amphibian for a later take off. At least I'm doing the adjustments and my co-pilot Fred is doing the loading. Hope he don't forget his double barrel 10 gauge shotgun, you never know here in the Golden Age what kind of trouble or bandits you'll run into.

Sure hope I can get the cabin heater working. Seems that in this S43's previous life in Golden Hawaii, they didn't pay the heaters any attention.

Preparing to take off ENHF to ENVA just before dawn.

    Default FS9 Real Wx

This will be the first real test of this new comp. If all goes well, I'll be on the SOH server.

Cruising along at 6,000ft somewhere over Norway. (or is it Canada?)

    Also, on the SOH server.

Landed safely at ENVA almost 3 hours ago. SOH was down for maintenance so this is my first chance to post.

We got a good start on our flight down through Norway arriving at about 7:30 am local. And the heaters are still not working right. I'll probably get them sorted out in North Africa...

Got a few screenshots enroute too.

    1) Hammerfest climbout
    2) S43 panel showing the infamous Lucas Electric autopilot
    3) State of the art aircraft entertainment system.
    4) Sunrise over Norway
    5) Parked at ENVA

    Thanks Moses!

My Sikorsky flying boat has been hijacked. Seems a group of men wearing armor and horned helmets with swords and battle axes hopped into it and took off saying something about going to Minnesota. Luckily, they let us get our stuff out first.

Heading back to Hammerfest to pick up the Beech 18.
