I've downloaded and installed DDS Converter v.2. The thing is, when I go to a set of dds textures and try to convert them, the second I try to highlight one of them the program foes a CTD. WTF?!?!

Where did you download the converter from? I am interested in looking at anything that convert .dds to .bmp. Maybe we two Dawgs can figure this out together.
This sounded interesting so I had a read what was going on.

Gmax has a lot of hurdles. The last one I tried to leap over, I fell flat on my face.
I did a google search as well - it seems the ones I saw that had any kind of description to them warned of instability, in the program or the OS.
If all else fails, you can open them singlely in DXTBmp and convert.

I seem to remember Martin Wright (maker of DXTbmp) also doing a batch converter. Would that program also handle DDS?
