    contact point problems

    I have been messing with the contact points for Bismarck13's D520.

    When i think i got it, it rocks like a rocking horse.

    Bismarck, i'll post the contact points here

    point.0=1, -23.21, 0.00, -0.60, 3200, 0, 0.30,180.0, 0.40, 2.5, 0.80, 7.5, 5.00, 0, 0, 135
    point.1=1, 4.41, -5.76, -6.55, 2200, 1, 1.05, 0.0, 0.50, 2.5, 0.83, 2.5, 4.00, 2, 0, 135
    point.2=1, 4.41, 5.76, -6.55, 2200, 2, 1.05, 0.0, 0.50, 2.5, 0.83, 2.5, 8.25, 3, 0, 135
    point.3=2, 0.00,-20.00, -1.25, 1200, 0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.0, 5

    Can you or anyone give advice or modify it so it doesn't rock like a rocking horse?"

    See that 180 in RED, Boeing ?

    That's the turning radius for the steering.....

    If you lower that number to
    35 - 40.0, your A/C will be a lot nicer to taxi.....

    Tried it sc7500, works fine.

    But the plane is shaking on the ground and rocking when the tail wheel touches down.

    Any tips and tricks?

    Icon17 Try this

    Sometimes they hop around because the CG Height is too "High":

    [contact_points]
    static_pitch = 12.233
    static_cg_height = 5.907
    tailwheel_lock = 0
    gear_system_type = 1
    max_number_of_points = 7


    Try lowering or raising this number in 0.050 increments and see if the hops dissipate...

    Alright, I have fixed the rocking but how do you shaking on the ground? It shakes when it starts up.
