Thread: MilViz 737-200

Just for information before anyone spots and mentions it...

The model build used for these screenshots has both the gravel kit and the normal gear doors visible. This was not an oversight, but simply because I hadn't compiled two separate models!

The "Gravel Kit" consists of the highly visible skid plate mechanism on the nosegear, a retractable belly beacon light, and vortex generator tubes on the fwd lower edge of the two engines. These are used to squirt high-pressure bleed air ahead of the intakes to minimize the possibility of FOD ingestion...

Thanks for clearing that up. I just started reading this thread and was going to post that someone needs to do some more research. But you'd be suprised how many customers wouldn't have a clue that there was a difference.

I would like to paint much of your requested liveries, but there is a limit for what I can manage within release. After the release, I may proceed painting a couple. So, by now I can not give more promises.
A paint kit will be available (as usual). The one I am using now is rather complex, but I will try to simplify it.

Here is a quick takeoff video:

Note that the sounds, VC texture, and a few other small things have been changed since

Oh the teasing and suspense. More more please or is it release time?? Really like the video and nice catch on the noises in the 737 VC. I for one know all too well the deafening decibels of the pit on the 737-200C.

As you can see from Gunnar's post #34, the separate models have now been compiled. The first image is of the "normal gear" and the subsequent images are of the a/c with the gravel kit installed.
