CFS 1 Installation Problems

Hi everyone,
I hope you all can help me out here. After a long (and annoying) search, I finally found my box of combat flight sims, including CFS1, CFS2, Falcon 4.0, IL2 Sturmovik, and several others. Wonderful! I tried to install them on my computer and... nothing. They will not install. None of them. Being older, they are surely 32 bit, and my computer is 64 bit. The OS is Windows 7. Could that be the issue? If so, is there a way to work around it? I really want to start flying these sims again.

welcome back.
just to make it clear, i do not run W7,
but, as i recall, you can install the old programs
in xp mode. choose that when prompted.
also, be aware that you may have controller issues
which can be overcome with a little work.

Hi, Smilo, thanks for the reply! I've tried the Windows XP thing; tried Windows 2000 and Windows 98 ones too. They just flat won't install; I'm wondering if it is the fact that my comp is 64bit? Would that affect it?
