That scenery looks simply beautiful, Clive. Looks as though I'm going to have to get that new computer!

American Pilot: thinks.......hmmm, the airbase is a shambles. Am I losing this campaign?

I seem to be having a Finnish period at the moment. Goodness knows why, unless it be because of the endless possibilities for aircraft in hypothetical, unusual liveries! Such as this Fairey Battle in late 1941 or early 1942...
Needless to say (I hope) the Finnish Air Force did not use Battles any more than they did Spitfires or D.520s, but they certainly might have come close.

I'm somewhat surprised that they didn't recieve Battles of D.520's considering that they ordered and recieved Moranes, Ansons, Blenhiems, Hurricanes, Gladiators, ect, ect..... Either way I'm sure they would have made supurb use of either! Not to be "that guy," but any thoughts about uploading? I'd be interested
The Airbase looks a bit different!!
Interesting rear canopy on the Battle (and the scheme): looks 'draggy' to use that way. Fury shines up, nicely.
Once I've finished one or two bits, yes, I'll upload the Battle. Did I upload my Finnish D.520s?
The rear canopy wasn't only draggy, but it also directed the airflow into the gunner's face, making what was already a challenging job, defending a modern aircraft with a hand-held Lewis gun, nigh-on impossible. A beautiful aircraft that was utterly unsuitable for any offensive propose!

Here's a quick doctored shot, using Clive's shot as a base! Fun to do!

Well, if you're already dealing with what-ifs, how about Airacobra or Kingcobra with Finnish livery? Plenty of Aira's were shot down, and occasional Kings too.. Soviets just loved those big cannons they had. And if memory serves, one of them was the reson why Hans Wind's war ended..
