    CR.42s over Europe

CR.42s had quite the career for a Bi-plane, first combats were against the Luftwaffe over Belgium, then against France and England with the Regia Aeronautica- both over the two countries themselves, and abroad in the Mediterranean, went to the Eastern front with the Hungarians, and got its last (probable) kill serving with the Luftwaffe in 1944. Here's a few shots showing CR.42s in combat in the ETO:

A dozen or so armament switches, a lever to choose between diving and landing flaps, and wings with trailing edges sweeping strongly forward... that's a Helldiver if any. And it's looking mighty great.
