    AR 196

If I'm missing something interesting, I'm interested...

Edit - found it. I think it's the same one.
No the AR 196 I have is an all new stand alone that needs a pit and mapping. I have two HE 115s one from Mathias and another. Both are great planes just too much to do. One of the HE 115s (Mathias) is mapped already I think, just don't know if it was ever released as an AI or?

Not that I'm aware of... Sounds as though we're going to be having lots of flying boats on both sides!

Free Norwegian He115s operated in the Med for the RAF. Another interesting bit of history!

    I didn't knew that!

Talking bout anti-ship in the Med, I have a project of building a few historical missions for the Sunderland operating from Malta.

Fantastic looking skins! I think you can show case them much better though using a sunny day with no clouds.

    Hi Guys,

    Hi Nigel,
I have a flyable (AI only) Ar196 made from Mathias static model. I got rid of the man standing on the pontoon with a alpha chanel edit to the main texture. the only draw back is the prop doesnt spin, so I stopped working on it. I did make a ship model out of it though, and painted it up to represent a jap float plane. These taxi around the various sea plane bases in some of the PTO missions. they shoot back and have damage built in etc.

If you want to take it further I'll send you what I have done thus far.

    regards Rob.
