Testing out the 21:9 aspect ratio of my new 3440 x 1440, 100 mHz, G-Sync Monitor.

    Feet Wet

The extra height is nicer when you're in the cockpit than my 3840 x 1024 three monitor set-up was, and not having the bezels breaking up the view is more immersive, but I do miss the extra bit of peripheral vision it provided when checking six.
CFS3 seems to run about the same even though the pixel count went up by 25%.

@MajorMagee - I haven't had MAW installed for some time, is that water FX from the tower standard to MAW or did you add that? Damn cool regardless!

    Some KTO action.

I believe the water gushing out of the broken water tower was part of MAW, and I had never noticed it before either.

Hey matey, methinks you might be talkin' about one of Dancat/Jon's crazy Luft46 creations.

Have that aircraft and there are major differences between the two. This looks like a Yak-15 to me.

    Here is a real one.

It is in fact a Yak-15 Feather. The original model was created by Dancat a few years ago and never (as far as I know) uploaded. It is an unfinished model and will most likely not be completed. There are no control surface animations except for the rudder. It is still a very nice example and a thrill to fly. I'm fine tuning them for the recent Ankor shaders and hope to upload them real soon.

When it is eventually uploaded PLAAF, DPRK and VVS stand alones will be included. Yak-15's were around in few numbers when the Korean War started and the DPRK and PLAAF had a very few of those. I can't find any data suggesting they were used in combat, but who knows. At least you can.

I had uploaded a bunch of F-86 skins years ago but they don't appear in the download section. Maybe got wiped out during the last server change? I'll see about adjusting those as well and upload them. I also have an F-86F-2 Gunval with four 20mm's (as opposed to six 50 cal's).

How do you get just one picture instead of two ?

Upload the file to a different site like Photobucket, and then when you reference the URL uncheck the Retrieve File for Local Storage option.

Hey FooFighter, Maybe some of these talented people here at SOH would help if they have time. Would be a great addition to CFS3 Korea or against the Luft'46 fighters. Would wait a while to see it done justice with the animated flight controls and whatever else it needs. The F-86's would be great to see them. Are they standalones or skins ? The cannon equipped F-86 would be awesome!! Regards,Scott
