    Make for Calmer Karma !!!!!!!!

    Hello everyone,

Before I had my heart-attack I was getting more and more stressed.
I bumped into an Indian bloke who advised me to make for Calmer Karma, at first I thought he was having a go at me, then he wrote it down and I realised what he was trying to tell me.

Did I apply it - NOOOOOOOOOOO.

Result was a mild heart attack - felt like a surgeons scalpel going into my heart with an immediate loss of strength and breath down to about half of what I was.
Luckily it did not kill me or I would not be writing this post.

All of us have talents which we can use, some of us are more blessed than others in certain areas, so help each other out before you have a heart attack like I did.

    Calmer Karma everyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As to the nitpicking about the sight being too high...

My dear fellow... it is a quickly and easily problem to solve...
One can change the coordinates on the acft.config to fit ... or tell me where the hell to put the sight...

Changing view coordinates was a pain for me. I had to do it for the Betty when I made new gun windows for it. It a lot of guess work. Below is the right chin. One is gif of the old one to yours and still frame that shows your sight (the pinkish dot)and the old sight (the bule dot)

I did evaluate and determine the facts. 1st: sc7500 B-25 BMPs.zip dose not work. The BMPs in them have artifacting http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compression_artifact. Why I do not know since sc7500 says they should work fine in CFS2 but they are artifacted just not as bad as a .JPG.

2nd: I made an ass out my self. SOH now converts .BMP files to .JPG when you upload them as individual attachments like in sc7500's post #62. SOH did not converts .BMP files to .JPG pre SOH crash (I quit CFS2 modding soon after the crash). I found SOH now converts .BMP files to .JPG out my self last week when I tried to upload a .BMP to fix some unpainted parts on FDG B6N2 Jill and it was coverted to a useless artifacted .JPG.

Myself being mad at sc7500's post #62 is useless. It was not sc7500 falt that his .BMP got converted to .JPG. I will eat a crow sammich for my post #63.

    HI AGAIN,

I like your quip... great humor... might have a chance to use it sometime for comic relief when I need a dose of it...
I am flying out to Miami tonite... and then to LAX ... should be in my Palms Springs desert hideout very soon...
and will get down to maybe changing the originals... (really not that big a thing) or maybe...
learn from you about this trial and error placing of coordinates... you seem far more knowledgeable than I am...
At any rate, I think we can learn a lot from each other...
    Like Bogey tells Claude Rains at the end of Casablanca... "You know Louis, this could be the start of something....{forgot the rest}

The right chin will need its view coordinates changed since this is what you see...

    Attachment 60063

The view point is not far enough out. So your seeing part of the model.

I have new view coordinates that will fix this. Open the OH B-24 panel.cfg and find the chin gunner listing and replace the line with this one

    VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_EYE=0.645,-1.55,4.17 //chin gunner

Now your B-24 right chin will look like this...

    I created these textures!

NOTE: The above panels were mislabeled - that should read B-24 BMPs.zip
I would have been nice to give credit where credit is due!!!!!!!!
I consider these textures my intellectual property... if you had asked for permission I would have
certainly granted it.... bad scene pardner...

    TheB24Guy,

As soon as I saw the panel and VC I knew what you were trying to emulate...well done! She'll have a place of honor in my collection.

    Thanks again Everyone,

KM B24's really got me hooked. They were so nice, but hard on frame rates.
I could have kept working on the MS model for years and never made it as nice as KM's.

Finally, I had to say enough is enough and call it done.

    Regards,
    B24Guy

I sent you a PM, but you haven't returned the gesture. Now we go public.

I did NOT hijack your "intellectual property" or improve upon it - merely changed the image status PUBLICLY from one extension to another.

There was no implied intent to steal your thunder, and everyone who viewed the thread knows they were YOUR originals.

    Relax.

I did respond to your PM as soon as I got it... only that it was not until just now... even before seeing this posting...
When you read it, I hope you understand where I am coming from... I even apologized to you on the PM...
Happy flying... no hard feelings AT ALL...
