    Snafu, and other Duxford delights

    Last Sunday, i took a trip to Duxford airfield, i go to a few airshows there every year but i also like to wander the museum when its quite. A mixed bag of pics for you but something for everyone im sure.

    Nice photos. Any information on the B-17 fuselage that's in the process of being painted? If so,...will the bomber eventually fly or be static?

    Hi, its static unfortunatly. Mary Alice resides in the American Air Museum complex, she was removed to the paint shed in May for a respary.

    Very nice collection. Things have change considerably since II was last able to be there. The Concorde was outside and the Vulcan dangling from the roof. And I don't remember them having any Soviet stuff then, must've been at least 10-12 years now...... Must go back .. one day.. bucket list item!
