Spot on Bruce , like the Charles F Adams escort and Seaking plane guard![]()
Spot on indeed! Dang, I love this stuff. Oh, here are some pics of the “other” ships in the CVN-65 Battle Group during the 1982-83 deployment, shot from deck of CVN. USS Waddell (DDG-24), Charles F. Adams class, USS Hull (DD-945), Forrest Sherman class, USS Reasoner (FF-1063), Knox class. None of these ships survives today. Does this mean I'm old? What a bummer.
P.S. (ok, "** OT **")![]()

No it dose not mean your old , It just means we have longer memories
Mid 80s a Knox class visited Lyttleton , Wobblyville (ex Christchurch) the USS Whipple (FF 1062) , had two capsule liferafts on the superstructure ... to this day i recall one commentthose are nuclear depth charges
.... so mothers really do have em
The files are with the publishers ( Pilot Shop ) and I'm guessing that so close to the month end Nathan will go for an August 1st release. By 'eck that's Yorkshire Day how appropriate.![]()

Ahh, the 1980's. Although it's painfull to re-watch the old 1980 's MTV videos, this model makes up for it.
