Hallo,
At first I will see to finish and to release my Tigercat panels.
Than perhaps I will have a second look on the Lodestar 2d panel.
I might be that I resize the whole cockpit to get more out of it.
What I must see to find enough gauges to make all the overhead switches avaible and functional.
And also it depends a bit if some more people would be interested.
Happy landings
Yours
Michael "Papi" Vader
thanks for the reply Papi.. I like the view perspective for a 2d panel... nice job..

Looking great there Maarten!
Let Being Helpful Be More Important Than Being Right.
The inner door was put onto the cabin sides sheet and the bench onto the inner seats texture a while back... have a look back in the thread for the mapping updates.
Great to see the on going progress of the Lodestar and the repaints... Awesome!
I'm in Viennia at this moment, just arrived after the long journey from Hongkong.
Maarten, I would've helped by posting a color photo of a NAC Lodestar, for you to look at, but I can't help as the picture would have to be scanned from a book and it is at home back in NZ.
Martial, oh wow! Really love your work on this one ... very impressive.
The answer to your questions are shown in the attached. Thank you :-)
Kia Ora Mark,
Thank you!
I'm not in a hurry since I won't be able to do any paintwork until the end of the month. At this moment I am applying the finishing touches (details) for the two KLM West Indies Division Lodestars. Precision work since I have to re-rivet those places where I have put paint on. Hopefully I can release both in one package by Saturday.
I'll wait doing the NAC Lodestar(s?) till you're back home.
Cheers,
Maarten
The paintjob of KLM West Indisch Bedrijf's (= West Indies Division) Lockheed C-60A-5-LO Lodestar PJ-AKA is ready now and the paint is drying. Probably tomorrow (August 6) the paintjob of sistership PJ-AKB will be finished too, after which I can upload both in one package at SOH's Warbird Library. So far it has been a huge pleasure to do this job using Rachael "Firekitten" Whiteford's awesome paint kit.
Cheers,
Maarten

Kia Ora Maarten, I won't be back home till early October, so it'll be a long wait!
I like your repaints of the KLM west indies Lodestars, thought it was such a waste to throw them into the sea just like that.
I see that there has been some model updates made, so I'll have a bit of work to do when I come back and update my vc cockpit textures to fit in with the updates.
Hi there,
The all new repaints for the Lockheed model 18 Lodestar (Wright R-1820 engines) featuring KLM West Indisch Bedrijf PJ-AKA and PJ-AKB, based on Firekitten's fabulous Lodestar paintkit incl. Mark Rogers' ditto interior textures, have just been uploaded. After approval they will be available at SOH only as long as the Lodestar is still a "work in progress". (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...8&linkid=20008)
My initial repaints, based on Andre Reimers' bare metal textures have been withdrawn from SOH's Warbirds Library. Until that moment 112 downloads of this preliminary repaint package had taken place.
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Maarten

The new KLM Lodestar repaints are available now. Thank you to all involved in this great Lodestar project.
The Harpoon interior has been finalized thanks to the awesome work of Firekitten; thank you very much.
Now I can begin the final preparations to ready the package for beta testing.
Will do my best to get the beta out this weekend.
Thanks Rachel
