Here is the Lodestar VC , still a WIP in progress. Note that I'm now texturing the seats with my own WIP textures - might have to color the frame a different color and also give the cushions a bit more color depth too. I haven't started on the passenger cabin yet - doing one thing at a time, and when the cockpit is done I'll move on to the cabin. Having some fun and enjoying doing the texturing in my own time.

    Excellent work Mark!
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

Great progress on the cockpit textures Mark

I think I'm done with the Sabena textures, but if anyone spots a problem it can be easily fixed.
fwiw. Any changes that I do for new paints i.e. panel lines etc I also do for the other WIP textures. Use the existing links to download the updates.

    Hi André,

Wonderful repaints as always - many thanks for these! ^_^

I spotted one minor issue with the late Sabena repaint - the blue cheatline had a minor white edge to it.

The b/w pictures of the Lodestars show this rather poorly - it's far more visible on other Sabena aircraft of the same era:

Given my connections to Belgium, I'm looking forward to the Sabena paints.

Thanks for pointing out the issue with the white stripe, I would never have picked that up as the photos are not that clear.

I've added the stripe and the download's been updated.

    Hi,

    Looking amazing.

Just remember, Milton, that you are entitled to a break once in a while; just short ones though.

    Andy.

It is amazing that after FS9 was abandoned by payware developers, few freeware developers still left are making all my favourites, one after another....

Attu Warrior - the real one - has been doing flybys all day today and yesterday in company with a Mustang and a Texan over my city. Simply beautiful! The WiP version of Attu Warrior released some time ago has been one of my go-to favorites since release, and I'm loving the newer releases just as much. Can't wait for the finished product, whenever that occurs...

That is just beautiful Tom; thanks for the heads-up.

I will have to skinny down the antenna options for these liveries. :-)

"FS9/FSX National Airlines Textures for Lockheed L-18 Lodestar by Milton Schupe.

Requires Lockheed L-18 aircraft by Milton Schupe.

    Textures by Gary Harper"

Beautiful paint scheme ... bungled my name :-)

Uploaded to Flightsim in the FSX section; works on the FS9 side as well.

    Lightbulb

    Hello Milton,

    Maybe it's just me
But I found the air file (flight model) of the Lodestar weird
I can still fly level under 60 Knots with full flaps and gear down and little trim up and little power
Is this normal or just part of the WIP ?
    Just asking
