Yup, I have, he really deserves a medal. I do apologize if it appeared like a demand/request, it's just a wish of mine.
I am, as I'm sure all of us are, so humble & thankful that we have Milton amongst us, giving his time & knowledge to lift our hobby to where it is today.

    Thanks, Milton.

In any case that would be more a Manfred kind of thing, and he's abandoned us for the Dark Side now.

Not a problem asking Sir; wanting a de Havilland Dash 7 is exactly the reason I got into modeling back in 2000. :-)

The plate is a bit full for now through the next two years likely and I do agree that request is better targeted to others.

Thank you for thinking of me though. :-)

There are a couple of partial views in those shots - I've put out a request for someone to take a photo of said panel - I'm 5000 miles away at the moment........

    PV-2 texture progress update...

    Attachment 13331Attachment 13332Attachment 13333

Just wished to share some progress pics on how the Harpoon's shaping up.

As Milton has already announced, we're jointly taking this one to another level.
The Skipper has created new models for all PV-2 versions.

The models include exciting new hardware for the interior as well as amazing exterior details - the scope for texturing is awesome.

So we're temporarily rolling back the metal skin and re-applying panels/rivets as close as we can get to the real birds.
All texture originals are 2048, so this should help over in FSX.

    Thanks, M!

Thought I'd drop off some much needed refreshments for the Skipper.

All that hard work in the Tahiti sun - needs more than coconut milk and breadfruit.

WOW, no kidding! Quite spectacular. You and Milton have really been hard at it. Thanks for the update Nigel.

It's a time warp.. and those blokes on the Bounty still can't figure out what has happened. Just yesterday they saw the biggest "ship" ever built (the Russian LUN) and most of them went into shock over it. Now, there is a PV-2 buzzing them overhead... Crikey! Consider the mental state of the ship's gallant crew before, and after this experience... (Airplanes not yet being invented)...."The lunatics are on the path".

Looking SWEET, Nigel, as always, and the "Bounty" is coming along nicely too.

I'm still flying the 'old' Harpoon WIP as one of my all time favourites!
Hard to believe that it can be improved so much.
    The screenshots are just fantastic!
    Well done Milton & Nigel...
