Ah heck...nothing that a can of Fix-A-Flat, some Rustoleum and a couple spools of baling wire couldn't fix. That bird is in better shape than most of the cars I've owned.

ok after studying the photos and other images it appears most of the rivet lines run lengthways.... so i've been redrawing what i'd done to get it running along the airframe, before i go in ind infill the vertical rivet elements, a few vertical rivet line elements on and definitely getting more 'right feel' about it now many thanks for the images!

Roger that OBIO. I like the "DO NOT SCRAP" placard. Probably a good idea
    for my ride.

    Yellow color.....

Something about this canary yellow actually appeals to me, it makes it look like a trainer or target tug (Yes, I know, slap me for refering it to a target tug, I deserve it). But irregardless, the modelling and pre-paint look marvelous.

PS, How are the pups doing?

yeah i kinda like this yellow it's not too vibrant as to send the eyes weird..... i'll be continuing it this afternoon, gotta take the pup and mom to the vet later for the obligatory checks, make sure both are doing fine etc... both seem to be fine, pups feeding as is the mom so yeah, going good, apart from the incessant 'mewing/squeaking' noise the pup makes...

Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks that shade of yellow is appealing.

The Navy painted their target tugs yellow like that. I know they used some Marauders in that color. Who's to say that at the end of service that some old Harpoons weren't painted yellow and used as target tugs?

I've also seen a pic of a F7F Tigercat in Navy service painted yellow too.

I thought someone was working on that paint job for Milton's tigercat but I never saw it show up anywhere. There was a pic of it but I've lost track of it.
