Rafale C for FS2004

This is really an excellent model, it does exactly what you tell it to do in so long as you follow the start-up routine. Works every time! I have the clean variant installed and I'm having a blast flying it! Thanks VPA!!! I know all the headache and hardship that you folks went through in getting the new Rafale to this point. VPA was so thoughtful, they included a "hot" panel.cfg for those flyers who just like to "jump in and go." Scored high marks from me anyway. Can't wait to see some re-paints!

VPA Team is actually preparing a small patch that will include :

1.
Correct location ( closer to the canard foreplanes ) of the fuselage french roundel ;
2.
Extented front landing gear animation after takeoff ;

Other future patches will probably include the current "MSA Gallet" Helmet used by Rafale pilots.
The actual "Guéneau" helmet presented with this VPA Rafale for FS9 have never been used by Rafale
pilots.

I get a Virus Alert if I visit this Page! Not really a good promotion to release a new Aircraft!
It could be because the have put .exe Files as download to the Page....who knows.

I suggest that they put the Files into ZIP Files.....maybe it helps

There was the same issue with the C-Model. (See previous posts).
The ZIP folder is there! Third one down, called 'Rafale B Pack 1 ENG zip'.

Also the texture folders for some of the AC models in Rafale B Pack 2 need re-naming from 'texture.7+HU' to 'texture.7-HU' ( same for the texture.7+HQ) for the AC to show.
Not a big deal though.
All in all a fantastic aircraft!

Methink the Isra problem (or remark) is related to the site (page) himself

His security software (dunno what kind he use) him know that this site is dangerous (may contain suspicious things) because it contains links to executable
So .. due to this alert .. some one can (for security reasons) not go further ...

The four files for the Rafale B package are now ZIPed and RARed but the damage has already been done. I went through the door and downloaded all four and then scanned them locally -- no issues at all. I then installed the files and have flown it with no issues.

After that I went back and filled in the form to say that the page was not a threat.

The aircraft is not standalone. Meaning you must first have the Rafale C. In order to reduce the download sizes the rafale B uses the same sound and effects files. There are four files with different versions but you must install the first one at least.

According to the RafaleVPA crew the flight model for the Rafale B has been validated by Dassault. Apparently so has the Rafale C but a patch is forthcoming with the validated flight model and some texture adjustments.

I had the same issue as Isra. I have Norton and used it for years. Never had this before.

Take a deep breathe and push through. Nothing will happen.

I believe it is because they had exe install files originally as the downloads. Big mistake but live and learn. They are now just RAR files of folders.

The red screen message I get is being triggered my microsoft i think. I scanned the four files with McAffee and they are fine.
