    The Stearman XA-21

    Attachment 52307

The Stearman Model X-100 was a 1938 competitor in an Army Air Corps competition for a twin-engined attack aircraft. It appears to have been influenced by German designs.

With that big Boeing logo on the tail, was it really called a Stearman? I've always been a little fuzzy on the Boeing/Stearman connection.

Much as I like most Boeing products, I feel the Army made the right choice in picking the Douglas A-20.

It resembles the B-25. Interesting find! Thanks for sharing.
