I do not see the issue sir.

Perfection does not come easily. It is not uncommon for me to spend a month on a fuselage shape, or 2-3 weeks on the cockpit window frame. I have redone the Avia 57 fuselage 3 times now (no 3-views), recut the windows twice. I have probably 100 hours in the fuselage. I know what you are talking about.

    Some late progress pics

Sorry this comes rather late, it took six hours to put up here.

    Hurricane91, Moses03, OleBoy:

Thanks for yesterday's encouragement guys- it means a lot to me...I hope the paintwork stands up to expectations.

The new, improved detail textures are a blessing. The exhaust textures and upper cowling intakes are particularly commendable, and made an immediate improvement.

    Nice work OleBoy, very professional.

If anythng below appears astray, now's the time to holler, Gentlemen.

    Milton:
I'll forward the textures to you as soon as I'm finished.
I'm sure you'll have a suitable parrot for the cockpit by then too.

    Just for the record:

Three of Milton's subjects were involved in the Spanish Civil War.
The Avia 51 and DH80 Puss Moth flew for the Republicans. The Spartan Executive was used by the Nationalists.

Looks GREAT Nigel. I like the soot effect coming out the rear of the main cowl. Nice touch!

I notice one small thing. Easily corrected. The nose cowl, the white is not also on the face of the cowl
Gmax has a lot of hurdles. The last one I tried to leap over, I fell flat on my face.

Beautiful work and details. I love it!

Good catch OB; I didn't see that trying to take it all in.

Looks good Milton. No problems here. Nicely done

    ==============

    This is a preview only.

We, (our team) has one picture of an AV51, reg OK-AVE as reference. Definitely work in progress.
This repaint will not be released with the Avia Package, but I will do my best to get it finished and make it available when it's completed, as an addition.

I have plenty to do yet.

Gmax has a lot of hurdles. The last one I tried to leap over, I fell flat on my face.

Sweet! A translucent copper toned bare metal scheme ... reminds me of old lacquer.

    I'm liking the results.

Lets see, alpha layers, a little more toning down here and there, maybe tone down the blue a sniggle.

    Enjoy the previews folks

    Back to the paintshop

    Danka.

The last edit to OK-AVE was just completed. Files are being sent to Milton. No promises that they are included in the Avia Package, as Milton had intended to get the package early. If it's not included in the package, one way ort nother it will be available after release.

My part of this package, is completed.

    She's all yours Milton

    I promise
