looks fine from all angles but i'm no upholsterer , the best way i can do an internal light source is to manually add that or alternatively put a light in the cabin and render an illumination.... but let's see how it goes,

half 11 at night and i'm still working away.... although maybe for only another 30mins or so...

Not looking for an internal light source but was referring to lighting highlights you may see on edges subject to exterior light.

I am thinking about adding light maps so the lamps can be lit when the nav lights are on. :-)
That would provide the ability for lighting effects in the _L bmp that would show when lights are on.

That is looking great Matt. It will look even better in the sim with its rendering. Looks comfy, elegant, and inviting.

    Mmmmmmmmm

No Fleshy Fliers, all asile or window seats! Probably just enough seats to handle the demand between the city pairs of the era.

    Cheers: T

Looks great Matt. Thank you :-)

    Tom,

Not many "fleshy" types in the early 30's. The 5 seat arrangement in the Avia 51 and 6 seats in the Avia 156 was their undoing. Cost per passenger mile was too high to sustain their operations. The Avia 57 design seemed to address that as a 14 seater, low-wing monoplane with retractable gear. Just not enough data or pictures of that unit to do much with for FS (though I may try :-)

    General characteristics
    Crew: 2
    Capacity: 14
    Length: 15.90 m (52 ft 2 in)
    Wingspan: 22.50 m (73 ft 10 in)
    Wing area: 81.5 m2 (877 sq ft)
    Powerplant: 3 × Hispano-Suiza 9Vd radial piston engine, 429 kW (575 hp) each
    R-1820-1

    Performance
    Maximum speed: 300 km/h (190 mph; 160 kn)
    Cruising speed: 270 km/h (170 mph; 150 kn)
    Range: 1,200 km (746 mi; 648 nmi)
    Service ceiling: 4,000 m (13,123 ft)

LOL that's good to hear. It is certainly a great looking aircraft. Would definitely find a home in my tri-motor hangar if you decide to go ahead with building one. Of course if it came to a choice between that and
the Lockheed Twins ..... the twins win

    Cheers
    Stefan

It's not a choice, but simply a matter of timing.
