    Thanks.

Finished up the cabin modeling today with new leather seats. I should get the seats and side panels mapped Thursday and send them off to the upholstery shop at "oleboy's".

Meanwhile, still working on the VC for the "156" and "51".

    Looks nice!

    I'm not sure me doing the interior is such a brainiac idea. I've thought about it, and I don't know how I'm going to manage viewing the inside of the model after I place the textures. You might be better off doing it inside the modeling program like you are. I'm open for suggestions on how I'll do this effectively. {shrug}

It's easier than you think. And if you would like, I'll send you a model without the fuselage skin so you can view it from spot view. :-)

    EDIT: Like this ...

Looks like a plan, Milton. I don't do any viewing in the simulator. Not until I get close to final appearance and last checks. Although, if you are doing it that way, there's no reason I can't continue using my usual method like any other project.

Fire away when you are ready.

Gentlemen, this aircraft, although still very much in its development stages, has to be seen/flown to be believed!
The thread pics simply cannot convey the truly excellent work input so far.
Its exterior/interior is full of eye-catching goodies, those special little extras that give you that elusive sense of 'being there'.

The above texture is a credit to its author; my sincere congratulations OleBoy!

    Flying?

Well, I won't spoil it for you Gentlemen...let's just say it's been a time consuming 'distraction' while developing the sounds...

Sorry for the late reply, that's the French company, Ratier. If you find a good logo image, please let me know. I should know, they were fitted to the DH88 Comet, never did find a decent logo.

First of all, I apologize for my English, which is not very well.

I apologize for the late answer but I decided to become a full-membership member when you asked for the name of the propeller manufacturer of the Avia 156. I think, this is the French manufacturer Ratier, I saw this logo on vintage motorcycle (Ratier was a motorcycle manufacturer too during the 50's). I searched on internet some examples but I found this PDF document which is (I think) much better.

I hope it will help You.

    Best regards, Doumet.

Beaten to the punch, should read the whole thread I guess, lol. Thanks Doumet, going to look into your link. I ended up cheating on the Comet paints, as they were initially fitted with Hamiltons and again later fitted with same, I used that logo, During the Race they were fitted with Ratier's though.

    Doumet,

great stuff, that document is the best I've seen, and I looked hard. It's enough for me to cobble together a logo for both our projects. Still working at getting everything running, but I'll try as soon as I can.
