looking for a new build!

i'm looking for replacing my 5 year hold pc for a new one and i wonder if this specs are still the best price performance for fsx. I will be grateful to hear some opinions as well as take some doubts.

processor:

intel core i7 2600k 3,4ghz, seems to gather some consensus

motherboard:

asus p8z68 deluxe 1155 or the asus p8p67 B3 1155, what's the difference between the two? what's the best option?

graphic card:

gigabyte geforce gtx580

memory:

corsair vengeance 2x4gb 1600mhz, 8gb is enough? or 16gb is better? is fsx give use to the 16gb?

drives:

ocz ssd agility3 240gb, here too i have many doubts. what's the best management that can be done in matter of drives for fsx? one for fsx and another for the os? needs the os to be in a ssd drive to run fsx in maximum performance?

os:

w7 ultimate 64bit, do ultimate edition do any difference in performance than the pro or home edition running fsx?

psu:

corsair ax850w

cooling:

zalman 9900cnps, and a case with 3 fans or is there better options in the market?

There is nothing wrong with what you have chosen but a fair warning the new SandyBridge E series X79 chipset boards for the new IvyBridge six core processors are just about due out. You want to wait just a bit longer...

They aren't going to be that expensive as they have to be somewhat competitive with AMD's Bulldozer. I think you will be glad you waited. Even if you decide not to go with the new stuff the current SandyBridge boards and CPUs will drop in price some.
