    Cold War Delta Wings

Here's two projects I started on early this summer. Some rainy days finally gave me the chance to complete them. It was a lot of work. Too hung up in details...

Both are delta-wing cold war planes:
First it's the Dassault Mirage IIIE. This FS9 model by J.E.Narcizo is payware standard in my opinion. It's a perfect Mirage for CFS2. New textures, panel, weapons..etc of course.

Secondly it's the Convair F-106A Delta Dart. The ultimate interceptor. I know there are some payware F-106's out there with nice textures, but I thought it was my duty to make an alternative freeware one which could at least match these visually. So I had to use Mr.Ito's version of course.
Hint: If you want to fly it in CFS2 you should DL the package from my Skydrive site for instructions.

    cheers

    Morton,

When it rains in Norway, you spread sunshine elsewhere. Outstanding work!

Very cool, back in the day, I loaded AIM-4's on F-101's. Switched from Weapons Loading to Missile Shop and worked on the same AIM-4s, till we traded our F-101's for F-4C Phantoms. Same AIM-4 Falcons were on the F-106. If I remember right the 106 carried 6 of them, the 101 only two. Went back to Weapons Loading when we up-graded from F-4's to F-16's. F-101's and F-4's damn hard on the knees for loaders, F-16's not so much. I'm sure the F-106 would have been just as hard on the knees as well, my knees were never my best asset, arthritsis in them now, and little plastic in one.

My pleasure. I'm just a hobby painter (as one can of course see). But my heritage from the pre-PC years with amateur painting/drawing have maybe given me an eye for what is looking good or not I guess.
