Thanks Dave; greatly appreciated ...
I have to agree Pat ... awesome work all around us ... and we just look on in awe.
Gaucho, I haven't made any of the panel available yet as the pieces are still coming together, now awaiting the forward console.
However, :-) in you case, I will as I need some adjustments in the cockpit textures. Will Email you the details. Thanks.
I sure hope someone can make that radar use the TCAS table in FS. I have a couple units that DO, and as I can't decompile them I can't even guess how to code one.

Hey, im wondering if you guys could provide me with documentation on these aircraft. Im going to start a manual on this but i need ref material in order to do so (this will go in with what i found). Just PM everything if possible. Hoping to provide a nice manual for this beauty. I might as well help out in some way. and Thanks for all those who do the hardest work on this pretty puppy.

- Panel lines complete
- Gray and white paint applied and is now dry!
- Began applying wear and tear, and Wx layers last night
- Tail markings for VAW 121 complete
- Standard USN markings (rescue, prop warnings, stenciling, etc. yet to do.

Really looking forward to it Sir! :-)
OK. First look at all the pieces in one pklace painted with panel lines in place and lined up across textures, shading applied. Still lots of stuff to do but you get the idea.
Apply weathering and wear and tear (first one's a line bird), tweek, adjust, lighten, darken, blur, sharpen, yadda...
Stencils, markings, and unit markings and all the rest.
Anyway, here.s what she looks like at the moment.

THe E-1 is not my favourite one but I must admit that you've done a really good job Duckie!
Man! There is a lot of work in just getting the basics in place an she seems to be spot on! Great details all around.
Just a little update on the -3. At the rate this is going, I think I'll just release the paint kit with basic panel lines and stenciling, and leave the weathering at the discretion of the painter.
As soon as we have paint kits available for download, I will post links for interested texture artists.
Right now, all I have is the C1A uploaded:
http://www.flightsimonline.com/mas/soh-c1a-paintkit.zip
I hope to have the E1B and S2F-3 paint kits soon.
EDIT: Here is the S2F-3 Paintkit:

Hello Marty,
Thank you ... my mistake.
I will upload that for you today.
EDIT: Marty, I have two turbo models: Military and the CDF Tanker. I do not have a straight civilian model of the turboprop. Give me a few days and I will try to do one for you and other people with an interest in straight civilian models. Thanks
EDIT 2: Marty, I need more information about your pictured turbo. The PT-6 engines are different and the model is different than what I have. So to be accurate, I need to know the number of props used on each engine. Dave posted a "Turbo Differences" many moons ago. If you can help identify this one by this text, that would be helpful. Please read:
"I've been researching information and pics of the turbo prop variants for awhile. There appear to be basically three main turboprop variants.
1. The Marsh/IAI version Milton has done, which was used by the Argentine Navy. (the only military user of this variant) This version retained the vibration damper on the left horizontal stab and was converted from the long fuselage and long stabilizer S-2E/G Tracker. In my previous post, I included a pic of the prototype in USN markings still.
2. The Marsh tanker conversion used by the CDF, most of which appear to be converted S-2E/G Trackers. Notably, the CDF birds do not have the vibration damper on the left stab. This would be a de-militarized version of Milton's bird with a more pointy nose cap and pointy chromed spinners. Marsh also converted a few S-2A's to Turbo Tracker configuration as tankers, which retained the S-2A stabilizers.
3. The Grumman conversion used by the Taiwanese forces, which used the same engine (Garrett) as the Marsh conversions but had a 4 bladed prop and different exhausts. The nacelle is similar to the Marsh conversion. Notably, these didn't retain the searchlight.
4. The Conair conversions which used the PT-6 engines with 5 bladed props. This engine has exhausts on both side of the nacelle near the front (due to the PT6 being a reverse flow engine, inlet at the aft end and exhaust at the front). These were conversions of CS2F's and S-2A's with short fuselages and stabilisers. These appear to have retained the vibration dampers on the stabilizer. These also have the more pointed nose cap.
Just putting this out there to help clarify versions and available color schemes, especially for the version Milton has produced. Information is good!
Dave "
EDIT 3: I see from the picture it is a Conair conversion, but I cannot see what count of props it has. And, it does not have a pointed nose as suggested in #4 above.
EDIT 4: Okay, this is going to take a while as I have made fuselage changes in the belly and redid the tail cone area and reshaped teh nose, and I am totally reshaping the nacelles. So when I get done, those three major parts will have to be remapped for textures. I will contact you when it is done, likely next week at the earliest.
Just an update here. If anyone sees anything I have missed, please "shout it out". Thanks
I'm putting out a call for any photos of small data stenciling as seen on an in-service SF2-3. Thanks for any help!
Marty,
Great pictures. I thought when I first looked at your request, I could do it in a few hours. However, after closer inspection, it will take much longer, likely 50-80 hours before totally complete. So, I am withdrawing my intentions to do this one for you.
I have 10 aircraft in progress right now, trying to release 2 of them this weekend, and have two others that people are waiting for me to map so that they can get painted.
So, I am not sure when or if I could even work on this.
My apologies for getting your hopes up.
Just to keep things current, I'm bumping this one up. Hoping that (avoiding the word "soon") someday, we'll all have one, if not all of these in our virtual hangars. :salute:

I appreciate everyone's patience.
We have a number of things in progress but the key thing being the panel and gauges.
Since no one stepped up to contribute panel and gauges, we must await Scott's available time to get it done. He is getting close now.
Not a problem for me as I have plenty on my plate.
There are many excellent textures completed and more in progress. They are all awesome textures, very impressive.
We also have gaucho_59 working on the interior textures for the C-1A and E-1B, almost completed.
The S2F-3 is getting close.
Once we have the panel and gauges, I think I can release at least two of these aircraft, maybe three by then.
The CDF Turbos can be released with the KA350 panel if folks are impatient. Its panel and gauges come after the radials' panel.
Thanks for understanding.
There are a lot of hours invested here and still more to go, but the end products will be fun.
