    Hi Milton
Yessir! copied the new panel and updated radio and AP sections in the CFG.

Been trying again today, went manually on course and altitude, then by switching every thing off in the AP including the master, then setting the AP for NAV/GPS and the selector in GPS and THEN switch on the master for the AP it did hold course for a leg, on reaching the next WP, the Aircraft flinched and never recover the signal again. This happened flying the S2A-CDF in FS9.
I'm starting to wonder if there is something going with FS9 itself (fairly old installation) but everything seems to be OK with the rest of AC, funny puzzle.

Oh well, I'll keep trying to isolate the problem.

This is the sequence I use to set the AP and Nav switches.

Thanks H52. That's one of the adjustments planned.

Ferondoe just posted his excellent paint for the FSX side:

Nothing I can do will show this texture...
I corrected the texture.SC entry, tried converting to DXT3.
    All in vain.
Pity, it looked like a nice scheme.

    Hi there,

Same problem here. Tried the same as Wing_Z but to no avail.
Please Ferondoe, could you solve this problem? It just looks too nice not to have it showing up.
Thank you very much in advance.

    Cheers,
    Maarten

As it says in the description, these textures are in 2048 X 2048 pixels.
I assume that they need re-sizing to work in FS9.

Wow! Thank you Stuart! That did the trick. (resizing to 1024x1024)

Now what I did was going to an editing programme (in my case Irfan View), resizing and saving as bitmap. Then going to DXTBmp, open the same bitmaps and save them as 32-888 bitmaps. And yoho!....

And Ferondoe: Yes, your repaint is beautiful! Thank you very much!

    Cheers,
    Maarten

Ferondoe requested a reflective model capability for this paint.

So, I created a new model with reflective properties. You may use this reflective model if you wish.

Here is a link to the new reflective model named model.s2alr to be added to the SOH-S2ALCDF folder.
This does NOT replace the original model.

I included Ferondoe's FS9 main textures (renamed to add _t), converted to 1024 with an general alpha channel set at 225,225,225 as an example.
I also included the aircraft.cfg showing the proper fltsim section.

The model will work in FSX or FS9.

Yeah, loved those pics when you first posted.

I've noticed in many of your pics, you're a stickler for smart scenery.
    Love it mate!

Looking forward to the '51 video!!!
