Now that is mighty "purdy"!
Love the double exposure on picture 6 :-)

Thanks Milton. I had not even noticed the DE in 6. I had a little problem with the recorder playback. It keep loading 2 of the VS-71 playbacks on top of one another and I thought it had straightened itself out but I guess it was just hiding!

Hi there,
Thinking about Jan Visser working on the S2F-1 Tracker, I wondered if there is any chance of a CS2F-1 Tracker (license-built by de Havilland Canada) to be modelled. As far as I know the only real external differences are the CS2F-1 lacking the big oval S2F-1 radome on top of the cockpit, and the rear part of the nacelles of the CS2F-1 which are similar to those of the early S2F-1 and the US-2A (G7 model S2ACDF), not having the "Hawkbill".
I saw (and downloaded) some photos and drawings on the internet that might be of some use if.....
Cheers,
Maarten

Hi Duckie,
correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think that the number on the wing is the right one (10AW) in your VS-72 repaint: this number is linked to the "modex" of the aircraft which is for your VS-72 repaint 222. I think it should be something like "22AW" or "222AW" (I don't have any pictures sorry!). May be the "10AW" comes directly from your VS-71 repaint?
Anyway, you are a very talented repainter and I'm always looking forward to your repaints, especially for the "Stoof"!
Best regards,
Stéph.
OK here's the update for the VS-72 wing texture. So far I have been unable to upload it to the library but will continue to try. In the mean time the update is attached here. Sorry for the foul-up.
Corrects the A/C number on the upper right wing.

Many thanks Duckie for the very fast "after sales service"!!!
I hope you won't be too fed up with my request but I think the number on the nose wheel door is uncorrect too...
I promise I will stop my remarks after...![]()
No! Please don't stop. It seems my mess up was not limited to just one area. Unfortunately I accidently blew away my "finished" VS-72 texture folder as I was preparing it to be uploaded (don't ask)! So I was working, too fast as it turns out, from a back up set and the textures I thought I had already completed to get it uploaded.
Any way, I'll update that texture in abit. Off to grand daughter's soccer game. The corrected texture will be popsted later thiks evening.

Well folks, seems I really botched the packaging on the VS-72 S-3F3! Thanks to gribouil who spotted my errors but not before quiote a few downloads. I hope that between gribouil and me taking a long 3rd look this will correct all the known texture errors.
You may know that the upload function is currently down so until it returns here is fix number 2.
Please accept my apology for this mess.

Not a major issue Duckie. I just packaged up 7 aircraft with combos of 8 different texture sets for passenger, cargo, and military/rescue transport. When you are into so many variables, hands get crossed as the eyes get blurred. :-) Different sizes, formats, alphas, model requirements ... its enough to drive one to a state of humility.![]()
