Nice pics! I just got to the urge to do a little Albatrossing myself the other day. I was reminded what a great plane this is. I love how you have to really pay attention to speed and plan far in advance. Flying a little underpowered beastie like this is tougher than some fire-breathing fighter at times.
What's that in the cockpit in the second picture? Looks like you took a fat snake along for a hop!
Nice pictures!
Cheers,
Mark
yea thats a blind flying hood, never knew it had that!
yes i know i cant spell half the time! Thank you kindly to those few who pointed that out
To me this was the plane that opened up the true world of FSX. It did things that were "impossible". It set the quality and FPS expectations way higher than they previously were. It forced developers to do better than they were doing before. It is still easily one of the best aircraft out there and belongs in everybody's hangar. It is one of those addons to which you compare all others.
The L-39 has become a FS legend.![]()
Still one of my favorites and probably the best flying on my PC. Love it.
Thanks very much guys. I'm really glad you're still enjoying her.
Cheers!

I bought the L-39 a few months ago as my first payware plane, and I have no regrets! I absolutly love it!
Thank you for the amazing aircraft!
