tracking flights before they fly?

is it possible to track a flight before it flys?...a friend of mine has a "boyfriend" who she says is due to come to her place,sometime at the end of july,,,he told her the flight would be american airlines flight 2215 from chicago to roade island greene something airport,she wanted me...or asked me to see if he was telling her the truth..she cant understand why he is going to chicago instead of new york or boston as she lives in boston....but the only american airlines flight 2215 i can find is for a 2007 flight from san jose to fort worth....

youd think so...( teens) but no..these people are in thier forties and lonely...its what happens when you (me) get involved with a chat site.....

Ah well, maybe he just got mixed up between girlfriends...from what little I know of chat/dating sites, only about 1.5% of the members are really who/what/where they say they are. Tell your friend to take care.
