Oh, that shot in your sig, is it a skyraider? I saw one at Duxfords flying legends airshow this year that was marking the sky just like that!
This one is a Sea Fury, restored by Sanders aircraft in California, who equip those smoke pots to any aircraft, as I just read on their page. Looked amazing when the bird came through the smoke donuts it left earlier at about 400mp/h.

    Bolter

Almost afraid to post these after that set by Private Custard, those are some awesome shots. A little bolter, seems someone's copilot forgot to check that the hook was down.

Know what you mean Old Prop Fan , awesome work by Private Custard -stunning !

First screen here ...well second actually , the first one won me a prize ...lol..very happy about that !

Sometimes , just sometimes , on firing up for a flight you just have to stop and look at it . Heres one of those moments for me, with just a minimal tweek to the brightness and contrast -nothing much at all...

The French have a long history of making ugly aircraft, yet they are also responsible for one of the best looking jet fighters ever IMHO:

Thanks to TuFun for reminding me of this great model...my old rig couldn't run it well, but now it is no problem

I would like to polish the chrome a little though...

    OK!

I've had FSX basic installed for several years on my rig. I've played with it off and on but never been real enthused just because my computer, while pretty brawny, has issues with FSX. Anyhow, about a week ago a got a wild hair up and decided to get FSX Gold. Got it installed and have been tweaking and playing with it. Totally enjoying myself. It really is a vast improvement over the basic version with just SP1 installed. Especially on my aging rig. Here are a few screenies I just took of a RW27 approach at Telluride, CO. Fair weather conditions.

    Cheers,
    MR
