Flying around Deelen/Terlet (NL2000v4.02 scenery) which is about 8 miles from where I live, with real weather turned on; the view outside my window was almost identical to how FsX looked!

Intel i9-13900 Raptor Lake , Be Quiet! Dark rock slim cooler, 32 Gb Corsair DDR5 RAM, MSI Z790 Tomahawk motherboard, Asus RTX 4060Ti 16Gb, Thermaltake 1050 Watt PSU, Windows 11 64-bit 1 m2, 4 SSD, 2 HDD.

Very nice! Who's Apache is that? I wasn't aware of a nice one.

It's the Virtavia Longbow. Flies nice, good model, but rather simple in terms of systems modelling. Bought it with a 50% discount some time ago.

BTW Anyone know of a fix for the roundles? They got those wrong on the Duch livery..

This being the 1st day of 2012, I thought I would pitch in my 2 cents worth and see if everybody is awake or not...

Can anyone tell what is special about these pics (other than being a totally fictitious seaplane, I agree... ).

As a second, can anyone tell me from which two planes this extrapolation originates from ... ?

The upper part is the easy part...

    Cheers,

    Fleurdelys

There isn't much I can add to the answer by Mathias. In the simple Finnish livery it looks very nice!

    Cheers,

You are both quite right about the origines of this mix and I must say that you do know your planes...

I thought that I would at least get a hickup on the floats...

Thanks for the compliment Huub but being nice is not the first answer that I was looking for...

Look again as Sherlock Holmes might have looked... LoL

BTW, can anyone tell me how to put full sized pics instead of the thumbnail size when I post... ?

Fleudelys, just shows that you nailed the shapes. Made it quite easy to track down the types. :salute:

As for fullsize screenshots, I think that works only if you use a hosting service or your own webspace rather than uploading to SOH.

Thank you for the info Mathias.

I'll keep posting the thumbnails for the time being...

Nice shots from a very nice aircraft Dave!

Fleurdelys, you don't need to have your own webspace, you can also host your pictures at a site like photo bucket and put a link in you your post here.

    Cheers,
    Huub

After work this morning I hopped in the OV-10, turned on Jeppesen real world weather and took off from Hemet... headed out over Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, Corona, then through the 91 Freeway/Green River area, did a touch n go at Fullerton, and then flew out over Pasadena... checked out Colorado Blvd (as close as I care to get to the actual parade) and the Rose Bowl Stadium. My dead reckoning skills = awesome
