I can't imagine trying to land a helicopter on the deck of a pitching carrier at sea, hell... I can't get my egg beaters to behave well enough so as to set down on the tarmac at the airstrip. If you indeed landed that AS365 on that ship, ijay, my hat is off to you.

Will do soon, hopefully. I'm still trying to decide if I like it enough as is, yet.

Today, remembering the American hero John Glenn, whose Korean War mount is depicted here (a repaint by Tom Stovall).

Zsolt, could you possibly upload any of those Sabre repaints when they're completed?

As indicated by the name on the canopy rail, the "Skyblazers"-painted Sabre is currently owned by Doug Matthews, as part of his Classic Fighters of America warbird collection. He has an additional, former RCAF, Sabre under restoration to fly as well, which may just be ready next year.

Doug Matthews currently holds four world records, flying his stock P-51D "The Rebel", which he set back in 2013:
    - Time-to-climb to 9,000 meters (approximately 30,000 feet) - 18 minutes
    - Time-to-climb to 12,000 meters (approximately 40,000 feet) - 31 minutes
    - Maximum altitude in level flight - 40,100 feet
    - Maximum altitude achieved - 42,500 feet

Exploring the "coffin corner" in Restauravia's Mirage IIIB.

Restauravia's and RFN's aircraft are some of the few aircraft out there that don't make me want to modify or add anything. They're just that complete.
