    My first repaint

    My first time posting here so hopefully it looks ok. This is my first repaint. It's Wozza's P-51 painted up as Lt. Col. Norman Fortier's P-51. Not sure if I'll upload it or not..

    And here's my second. Swingman's Po-2 painted as the one owned by the Military Aviation Museum/Fighter Factory in Virginia Beach.

    That's a lovely shot Manfred even though the model is not one I'd consider downloading. Those nav lights need some work though. They spoil what is otherwise a nice model. Are they attached in the mdl or referenced in the aircraft.cfg?

    Thank's Bill -yap, even it seems to be a "legacy" model I like its appereance in FSX. Regarding the lights, the abrupt flashing lights are much better than many of payware products...

    @Joe: Cool shots!
    Best regards, Manfred.

    Yup.. the strobes have a good effect though the flashing nav on the tail is some way off the back of the aircraft I downloaded it last night and agree it's a nice model with a surprisingly sedate FE. I'll add a set of Dave Garwoods navs and maybe adjust the eyepoint a little.

    Eyepoint - You are right. I felt like a 10 years old child when sat down firstly in the cockpit. I lift it up to 3.4, I seem to be 6 and a half feed now
    Best regards, Manfred.

    I'm a 6-footer so I've settled at 3.2. Nice to get rid of the cushions

    Rick had one on the go but when Alpha released this one.. he stopped work on it. This one is still payware under the Virtavia banner

    Damn, ok. I saw Rick's WIP shots of it from a few years ago and it all looked fantastic, even the VC. I wish he would have released it anyway.. even if it was unfinished.
