    Going to a Nikon School

This weekend I am attending a Nikon school on the D7000 in Dallas. It just happens to be the birthday of one of my sons. So I will visit him and take him out to dinner on Saturday.

I am interested in seeing if these schools are worth the money or just a spoon feeding of the various books on the camera.

    Thumbs up

Sounds like it will be a great experience, at the least to network with other Nikon shooters...

Yes, I have thought of that. I think it will be good. Although, I have bought and read a couple D7000 books, and I follow the D7000 thread in Nikonians, it will be helpful to dig into the entire thing all at once. There are several features which I haven't taken the time to learn because I never or rarely use them....like video.
