    New Robe for the Emporer

I' started flying the latest Hoplist on the SOH Server and at the suggestion of "Maddog" resurrected the C-123 for the hops, it's perfect actually. After looking at the exterior of the Vietnam livery I redid a long time ago, I decided it needed an update with better resolution textures. I'm also changing it slightly to the markings of the C-123 that General Westmoreland used during his time in Nam. This was his private steed, so-to-speak.

Here are a few in-sim shots. I'm posting these despite the lack of interest. . . .just for the heck of it, lol.

    Very nice paint Falcon409!

I made my first Airborne School jump in the C-123 over Ft. Benning GA back in 1977. Definitely brings back some memories!

Yup, far as I know it's the only one you'll find (V.Zhyhulskiy). What I'm flying is several times removed from the original as I've done a VC panel update, different sounds, new paint from a new paint kit I did and currently redoing all the interior textures to a higher res. Still, the original was great right off the bat.

    It looks nice
Gmax has a lot of hurdles. The last one I tried to leap over, I fell flat on my face.

Looks nice. I would gladly pull that girl out of the back of the hanger for some updates and put her back to work.

Actually, I am very interested! The C-123 is one of my favorites, so I am always interested in aquiring a new paint.

I've actually flown as cargo on a few of these just post Vietnam. The sheetmetal patches over the various small arms holes in the fuselages were always very interesting to look at.
Most interested in flying new and improved!

I flew in one from Cam Rahn to Nha Trang back in 69.. Didnt know what it was back then. Thought it was a baby c-130... It was a very strange day. My second " in country"..

Small world Pam.......1969, I went in the opposite direction, going from Saigon to Binh Thuy AB on the Mekong Delta. Left there a year later in a 123 with JATO. Awesome!

Ahhh, JATO...there's a missed technology. I remember seeing it once on the Fat Albert Hercules, impressive. It's too bad FSX isn't able to replicate multiple powerplants, taking your Provider update to the next level and the B-36. Great job on updating her.
