    486_Col_Wolf,

No, but they are .wav files, only useful in mission builder.

May I suggest an alternative? These work in both quick combat and missions, and do not require specific use in mission builder.

Enables you to hear British radio chatter in missions and quick combat with no need for adding it through mission builder. Michael Brookshire a.k.a. Franz von Baron. 7.8MB

    Rami,

Thanks for the quick reply. The ones I'm using do not need to be set in mission builder either and can be heard in QC as well. But I will give them a try to see if it clears up my CFS2 crash problem. It did start after the Ground Crew radio call .wav files were added

OK my mistake. I already have the FVB files installed. Maybe the use of FVB files and having the .wav files from BritRadioCom and GerRadioCom in the action folder causing a conflict? But if I remove the .wav files from the action folder where do the FVB files get them from?

    Icon17 Making Sounds Work

Just checked my sound files - I have a bunch of extra voices and stuff in my BoB install - and here's what goes where:

~ [RADIO] needs ALL .QVI / QVT / QVR files in here. I have British / USA / French / German

~ [Action] needs ALL the pilot WAV files in here

The program will look for pilot chatter automatically

    486_Col_Wolf,

If the .wav files are causing you problems, the simplest solution is just to remove them.

Removed all the .wav files in the action folder and it it hasnt crashed yet. I'll let you know how I make out after flying for a while. Doesnt seem to repeat as many action sounds over and over as it used to either. Maybe having both was the problem. Thanks guys!

Some place I picked up Radio.rar file and windows 98 ignored it --- but Xp didn,t like it at all ,, My 109-F after 5 take outs (kills) would CDT -- Figured it had to be something in the Dp wrong , syntacks or something ,, Then it spread to the 109-G and E series --too , Flying QC ,, After spending Months trying to solve the issue ,,
I was beginng to pull my hair out , shut down all scenery add ons , Copy over all
C drive componets from Pacfic to Bob install ,, All in vain ,,
Twas the damed RAR file in action folder --- erradicate with extreame predgidice--
44 magnum style works best ,,
