California has had 303 tornadoes since 1950 (when they started official records), where Texas is over 7,700 in that same time frame.
(OK, maybe 307 now - I doubt they've updated the website yet)

They are an anomaly here, like I said very small and not usually noted. I never heard of one happening until a couple of years ago. I seriously doubt it they are reported. Usually we are more worried about lightning strikes which cause forest fires, especially up here in up-state.

It is troubling, this spring has been VERY WET, lots of bad storms..
And far too much rain here in Dayton Town..
May have to build a ARK, hobbits don't swim well..
I do keep all those who are suffering so this spring in my Prayers..
