Sim Skunk Works zippers as freeware!!!!!!!!

As announced in the Sim Skunk Works new homepage, all official versions released so far have become freeware. This includes:

    - FS9 F104S V2.0
    - FSX F104S V2.6
    - FSX F104S/ASA V1

FSX V3 development continues at good pace. We are running beta 3 right now, and we are getting close to a release. We will keep you up to date.

Ok looks great sounds awesome... wont rotate. Also te primary HSI is inoperable, secondary is fine. Can't seem to find any battery or avionics masters either.
Would someone be so kinds as to tell me what silly error(s) have I made

    Thank you, great looking aircraft!

    Two questions though:

What's the difference between the three packs?
And is there a manual available somewhere?
Intel i9-13900 Raptor Lake , Be Quiet! Dark rock slim cooler, 32 Gb Corsair DDR5 RAM, MSI Z790 Tomahawk motherboard, Asus RTX 4060Ti 16Gb, Thermaltake 1050 Watt PSU, Windows 11 64-bit 1 m2, 4 SSD, 2 HDD.

version 3 is miles ahead than version 2.6 and ASA 1.0, take a look to the SIM SKUNK WORKS site for further, however worth of to try older version just to taste.
Original flight manual slightly patched to be used with the SIM will be packaged with version 3.

    cheers

    Craig, some "tips":

-To rotate the plane needs to have take off flaps set and trim for take off. Take a look at the front panel, left side, you must have 3 green bars. Trim up and set the needle on the green arc. You should usually rotate at 170-200 KIAS, depending on weight and config.

    - HSI and several other nav instruments need the INS calibrated. Right console, INS on calibration, hold until green light... and NAV.

And as Mario said...everything is on the pilot checklist.... this plane needs some study to really get in touch with her....but then you can't leave her....

    Cheers

    Diego

    Please, What is the difference

Does one just install V2.6 :salute:

    FSX F104S V2.6
    FSX F104S/ASA V1

Thanks for that, missed the CL's on my first visit. Managed to cruise around Aviano for half an hour, even managed to taxi back in and shut down without crashing.

I believe you have to initialize the IRS, which drives the attitude indicator. Takes some time to spool up - rotary switch if upper right part of right side panel.

some differences, ASA version is an interceptor version, S is mainly a fighter bomber.
No or minor diff on external, diff on equipment:
    - ASA has no gun since all AIM7 equipment is hosted on gun bay
    - ASA has a extended range with about 500 lbs fuel more, tank take the place of the gun bullets storage
    - ASA has a different cockpit layout
    - ASA can carry AIM 7 MRAAM missile and AIM9-L , S only AIM9-L
and other minors, flight characteristics are equal.
    cheers

    Hi Zsolt,
Ground accessories are inoperative for the moment, but they would be implemented (the texture sheet is ready as you saw ..). The problem is the multiplayer environment, but we are testing.
There will be a paintkit avaiable with the release of the version 3.

    Regards

zsoltquak, mind if I ask what scenery your using there? I tend to fly from carriers so my airbases are all default.

Will need to check this one out when I get home. I spend these days in Sorrento would you believe it ;-)
I see the mapping on the antiglare panel area needs careful attention. I'm sure this will be all fixed in ver.3 ?
