Problems Downloading From WB Library

For the last 4 weeks or so, I was unable to download any new files from the warbirds library.
They either don't start at all, or just get stuck at around 10%.
My settings haven't changed since my last successful download:
XP SP3, IE8, AVG free antivrus, Windows firewall.
Even with the security settings deactivated, no luck! This is the only download site where it happens, everywhere else works.
Such a shame, and quite annoying with all those great C-47 repaints waiting!
Has anybody got an idea what might be causing this?

Try it with Firefox and see what happens. I learned long ago to avoid IE like the plague.

Cheers Obio, but I never had problems with IE in 10 years.
The problem occurs purely with SOH downloads, nothing else.
I will try the old 'delete cookies and browsing history' trick.
Pain in the neck though, having to set up all the passwords and usernames again!

Edit: I have installed Firefox as a secondary browser. Downloads work, but still with hickups.
I had to pause and restart the downloads several times.
