This is just great. Holger has paired with OZ to give us KGCN and the Canyon. Get it here:

I installed that scenery and I have to say that based on your screenshots yours looks a whole lot better than mine. I wonder what I am doing wrong?

What are your Mesh Resolution settings in FSX? If set at the default 38-meters, slide it up to 10-meters.

A word of caution.
The airport KGCN is at 6,500 feet. ........ Takeoff is going to take a long run if you don't set the mix right. I recommend that you do a run up before actually taking it down the runway.
That Cub is really wheezing at 7,000. I didn't know if I could climb back out if I went lower.

How I wish that scenery would work in CFS2! I would love to do the whole Iron Eagle canyon thingie....two jets steaking through a canyon...one trying to kill, the other trying not to be killed.

Hi Joe:
Excellent screenies... the variety, and the time of day lighting used do more justice to the beautiful work by Antonio, Maurizio, and Holger than my limited set of example pix in the "FSX Default Maule... Alternative Grand Canyon " thread here:

Thanks for helping more folks to know the freeware OZ/KGCN Grand Canyon scenery is available to fly in!
