    Been there, done that!
As a kid, I never had the patience to finish such tiny details, as most of my models ended up with a firecracker inside...
Being older (but not always wiser!) now, I try to apply some more diligence to my works.

Like with all repaints of Alphasim aircraft, the brilliant paint kit makes it hard for a repainter to spoil his paint, so a huge part of the kudos should be addressed to the original creators!

    Talking about spoiling:
I almost messed up the refuel probe's paint. It's green now, as it should!

    Uploads proceeded.
    Enjoy!

    Cheers,
    Markus.

Me thinks most of us participated in the creation/destruction cycle during our youth.

My models of choice were Monogram's balsa wood, tissue paper and that awesome smelling dope.

When it was time to clean out part of the hanger, I'd take a few planes up to the roof, wind up the rubber band as tightly as possible and have my buddy hold a match under the body until the fire started then launch them off into the sunset.

My folks never quite grasped the fulfillment that Viking launch gave a ten year old.

Firecrackers? Barbarians. The large majority of my 100+ kits are still safely stored away in the garage awaiting their turn to survive the next generation...which is not far away with both my son and daughter ready to get their hands on them- who needs firecrackers? Needless to say, they will NOT be laying hands on a single Canberra!

.22 birdshot simulated AA results pretty well. Glad I lived out in the country. Can't even shoot a BB gun in the city.

Garage? Steve, the traditional use of "the kit stash" is a loft insulation, I thought everybody knew that?

Whatever sound pack you use for the -66, make it L - O - U - D. I was at transient alert at Luke AFB one day in 1975 when an EB-66 pulled in. I never heard anything like that in my life! Holy Cats!!!

The only other real screamer I ever heard is believe it or not the T-37. That's another one that'll make you grind your teeth.

For the bomber, You can get some nice loud sound files at David Maltby's site.

And I remember the T-37's that showed up at Dyess once in a while. At power, they weren't too bad, but taxiing by at idle, the high pitched scream was enough to make you want to shove an ice pick through your ears!
