... But my poor tired brain is stretched between walking dogs in the freezing rain and trying to watch the Daytona 500 while working on my BoB Scenery.
For the UPTEENTH TIME, I ask this question [and I SWEAR I'll write it down, Honest] - are there numerical limits on how many files can exist in the [Objects_DP] file, and in the descrip.dat and MDLNames.TXT files ?
Here's why I ask - There seems to be a "more than normal" CTD scenario now that I've added some new/leaner/better airfields to my Mission Builder lists.... I've pared down the number of airfields to pre-1940 numbers, and installed a bunch of Rami / Achim / RJ [and others] scenery, which has added greatly to the afore-mentioned file sizes.
Now I have a situation where objects with DP files take no damage; where adding ships to the London Docks scenery makes the entire dock complex DISAPPEAR; and I'm seeing more [terrain.dll] lockups.
Anybody have an answer for poor old SC ?
TIA

I do recell that there is some sort of limit where the engine goes into meltdown. I forget what it is cause I never thought that I would get that high. I think it was Bearcat or Pen32 who addressed it, but not sure on that.
