    Recommend helicopter leg to cover the short distance (167 NM) to SKRG to start the "heavy iron" run out to the Galapagos Islands.

    Baton is free at SKUL. Had to divert due to IRL issues. That was 33 NM. So it looks like somebody else gets to fly a helicopter leg, whoohoo!

    You got the lead wingman - had FSX crash halfway there, so officially aborted. What is the policy on Flight Sim software crashing during a leg?

    in almost all circumstances it is a lost of flight.. crash with wingman transfer ( +30 min penalty) or if no wing, reverts baton to pt of departure + the obvious loss of elapsed time

    Looking at the rules, nothing was said about how big the jet has to be and beings as it looks like no one else is in a hurry to burn some kerosine....

    I guess I'll take the baton SKRG to SEST in the Lockheed TV-2 (US Navy T-33)
    Propliner = Proper Airliner
