I really like Microsoft ICE. Panorama photo of the Pascal farm Christmas display.

It does the best photo merge stitch work of any editor I have and it's free! Photoshop cannot touch it with its Photo Merge option. Of course all image had been processed in PS before stitching, ergo, not one bit of post-processing was required on the panorama. This was done with three photographs at an 18-mm lens setting on the PENTAX K-x (28-mm in 35-mm cameras), Night Scene mode, tripod mount, 2-sec timer to avoid hand shake.

    Caz

A panorama of the entire Pascal Farm display.

    Question

Didn't your Pentax come with any stitch software included :ques:

Yes it does Panther, but even it cannot compare to Microsoft ICE when it comes to blending, especially the sky in day photos. As far as I know though, the PENTAX software will only do three images horizontally in a panorama. Microsoft ICE can handle any number of images, stacked vertically and horizontally. I gotta try that one day.

It's free Panther, give it a whirl. For 32-bit and 64-bit OS.
