Moses03's first post in this thread lists the starting and ending airport, the required stops, and other requirements. From there, it's a matter of finding an airport within 750 NM and 2 hours flying time from where the baton was last released.

And in the general direction of the next required stop.

I'll jump in for a leg or two when the rush has died down.

Lessons learned from my attempt at a jet leg or having Murphy as a copilot.

First off, the first attempt in Piglet's T-33, I could only get up to about 80% rpm. Not sure what was up with that, but I aborted and switched aircraft.

Attempt 2: Flying the JBK DeHavilland Comet 1 this time. Was able to get full throttle, but when I switched aircraft, I forgot to turn off the autopilot before switching. Which led to serious "Otto" trying to kill me problems on take off. So I shut down FS for a restart to clear Otto as nothing else seemed to be doing it.

Attempt 3: Took off again with Otto behaving this time. About 15 mins into the flight, I checked the Duenna. Seems that with everything else going on, I'd forgot to set it before take off. At this point, I'd had enough and turned the baton over to my wingman which is probably what I should have done from the start.

I stayed on line after that and worked with some jetliners to see which ones had the best RTW potential and what problems they'd have in flight under race conditions. All of my usual jetliners seem to be of similar speed and of the three that I like to fly, I think I'll stick with the Boeing 727 now that I've since installed a newer Otto in it.

Somedays, it just doesn't pay to start the engines.....

For some reason Duenna is not compiling the jgp - I get a map jpg with the route line, and another with start and end symbols, both in the temp folder. They should end up layered together in the output folder, along with the text at the bottom. The finished output jpg is just a 0 kb placeholder in the output file, it's never put together.

The flight does however get tracked and recorded online:
