    Well, wasn't that a party!!!

After the usual sit-around-the-oil-drum BS session a few days ago, the pilots, mechanics and hangar dogs who hover around the Flight 19 side of the place decided to take on this FlightSim.com winterfest. Much debate and coin-flipping but a plan unfolded:

    1. Fly individually and post separate results threads to show our overwhelming numbers
    2. Fly the IRIS (freeware) P-40 - it's a good price, classic, comes in lots of colours and will make 'em wonder
    3. Again with the idea of inundating the opponents, plan a mass start at UHPP.
    4. Stick with the usual method - make it up as we go along!

So, Sunday, Dec. 19 ( or was that Monday the 20th - dang dateline confoozles me) a gaggle of P-40's from all over the world assembled at the remote Russian airfield and launched (with some trepidation about weather and fuel) for an Aleutian airfield (any one would do).

Even a couple of innocent victims ..errr... spectators (falcon409 and atcman771) joined the festivities and all made it safely to PASY (as was the plan!)

Now it's a free-for-all enroute to Holkham Bay!
