Hi All,
A while back somebody put out a low cost version of the Beech D18 for FSX. Does anyone remember who it was and where I might have a look at it?
Thanks in advance,
mal

Dont grow up! ... It´s a trap!
CR-1's version sure looks nice, but Milton's is freeware and flies nicely, both the Fs9 and FSX versions.
My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
There is another nice adaptation of Milton Shupe's D-18 for FSX, with a more “post war” panel, which I really like. Looks for fsx_beech-c45h_expeditor.zip at FlightSim.com. Also, get the fix (fsx_c45h_fix.zip), which corrects the texture (spelling of “freight” on the side, hehe).

Wow, in looking up the file name for the post I made about, I found two more D-18s based on Milton's Beechcraft at FlightSim with different, and beautiful panels.

Good stuff. Non native, yes, but nice.

Anyone bought this yet? http://www.fspilotshop.com/product_i...oducts_id=2685
More then likey its built from the ground up to be FSX native, but there aren't any shots of the VC.
I really do not understand why FCS does this, they do this with other addons aswell, and the plane ends up having a dam nice VC. :mixedsmi:
Kinda buying blind if you ask me, if only I could see the VC so I can make up my mind to buy or not!
That doesnt look bad at all, but personally, i prefer Miltons..
Well, that FCS Beech looks like a pretty nice model, but you're right, a $30 crapshoot is not my cup of tea. Unless we know what the VC looks like I'm not goin' there.
I picked up the CR-1 model yesterday, and it's OK, but not quite the quality I'm looking for.
I have Milton's and have had it since FS9 days, but honestly the VC shows it's age.
No, what I'm after is a high quality model and VC along the lines of A2A or Vertigo or Carenado.
And since that is not a current reality, I'll just have to make due with what I have....but hope burns brightly, so we'll see.
I've been doing this since 1995 so I know how to be patient.
I love Milton's aircraft but my FSX computer doesn't. I get a 5-10 fps drop by running FS9 aircraft, 5-10 frames which I can ill afford!!
