    Scenery cfg

I'm setting up my CFS2 again after wiping my PC.

I am wondering, is there a specific way to set up the scenery config for a multitude of airfields, meshes, and add-ons?

My Install consist of one instalation, I use EasyMultiinstall_1.1 full install that I found at this site and auto splash from this site and added the batt files together and added more codeing so the splashscreens are in one folder. Then I worked out I can have many cfg, dat, gsl files in one install that did not come with the programs.

    Wulf190,

I like the separate install method with centralized scenery, sound, model, and panel files to consolidate and save space.

As far as install guides, see if these help...

I have mine set up like this:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Scenery\ATO\DAF"location" files
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Scenery\ETO\SdC"location" files
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Scenery\MTO\Achim"location" files
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Scenery\PTO\MR"location" files

I then map to each from the appropriate installs, which are arranged thus:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\ATO\Combat Flight Simulator 2
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\ETO Eastern\Combat Flight Simulator 2
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\ETO Western\Combat Flight Simulator 2
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\MTO\Combat Flight Simulator 2
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\PTO USAAC\Combat Flight Simulator 2
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\PTO USN\Combat Flight Simulator 2

Of course the DAF-SdC-Achim-MR are just examples, but you get the gist......
