    727's a-coming

As I've mentioned here and there, Tom Ruth is working on the 727 series at the moment. He documented the whole development process from the start as a guide for aircraft development newbies.

At the moment, he's "gauging up" the VC of the 727-100 and well, it looks fantastic!

    Follow the thread here:
    http://forum.flightxpress.net/index....30147&pageNo=1
It's in german, but the screenshots speak for themselves.

You can betatest the exterior model here:
    http://forum.flightxpress.net/index....threadID=31567
(Note: The 727 beta needs files from the default 737-800.)

There's no ETA and he'll be done when he's done.

I'll keep you posted should anything significant happen.

    Hi Navy Chief,

I think Thomas Ruth does freeware normally so I expect this will also be free.

I wouldn't request anything. Tom does what he does and if he doesn't, he doesn't.

But yes, the -100 model already has a freight door cutout. I guess the same will apply to the -200.
